New Read and Play packs available at our libraries

News Update 28 April 2026
Libraries

Play, explore and grow with our new interactive Read and Play packs, now available at South Perth and Manning libraries.

Designed for children aged two to seven, each pack supports early literacy through themed play and storytelling. With options like music, fairytales, and animals, every pack includes picture books, character puppets, educational toys, and information cards to support learning and development. Ten packs are available at each library and can be borrowed like any other item.

Plus, our early childhood programs for kids aged two to seven are returning for Term 2, offering fun, engaging learning experiences through stories, music, dance and play for little ones and their families. And don’t miss the return of Kids Craft Club, where children aged six to 12 can create, explore, and express their creativity through weekly themed craft sessions.

For full program details and schedules, visit the library’s Early Childhood and Kids Craft Club pages.
