Get ready for a relaxed evening of live music, culture and family-friendly activities at Sounds of Bunuru at James Miller Oval in Manning. Pack a picnic, bring your friends and settle in under the stars for a night celebrating Australian music, local culture and community.

Concert: 5.20–8pm (including intermission)

  • Headline performance from Australian R&B and dance artist Becca Hatch 
  • Support act Boox Kid (featuring 2025 WAM Vocalist of the Year Jarred Wall) 
  • Support act Lachy John and the Red Bellies 
  • Roving entertainment from Enchanted Stiltwalking 
  • Children's Aboriginal art workshop by Scribblebark 
  • Face painting by Mollydag Faces 
  • Djoona Smoking Ceremony and yarning circle with local Elder Joe ‘jopossum’ Collard 
  • Youth Makers Markets 
  • A range of food trucks including Espresso on the Go, Porta Pizza, The Bratwurst Van, Jumplings Tasty Dumplings, Shak Shuka, Appleseeds, and Ivy and Coco's Soft Serve 
Audiences can look forward to a full evening of live music celebrating both emerging and established Australian talent. 

What to bring 

  • Picnic rug or camping chairs 
  • Your own food and drinks, or purchase from food trucks on site 
  • Follow signage for high-back and low-back chair zones so everyone can see the stage 
  • Dress for the weather and bring sun protection for the early evening 
Seating is unreserved and available on a first-in, first-served basis.

Public transport

Walk or cycle 
A free bike valet service will be available at the event, managed by People on Bicycles. 

Car 
Free parking is available at the Manning Primary School oval, with entry from Jarman Avenue.
