Ready to clear some space? Verge Valet™ makes it simple
If you’re tidying up your garden, clearing out the shed, or making space at home, Verge Valet™ is an easy way to manage unwanted items responsibly.
Our pre-booked verge collection service lets you choose a collection date that works for you.
Each financial year, residents can book two green waste verge collections and one bulk waste verge collection, with additional collections available for a fee.
Booking is quick and easy. Simply visit the Verge Valet™ website to view available dates (up to eight weeks ahead), select your collection, and follow the prompts. You’ll receive a confirmation by email or text.
Each collection allows for up to three cubic metres (3 metres wide x 1 metre deep x 1 metre high) of material. Once you have booked your collection, place your eligible items on your verge no more than three days before your collection and before 7am on the day. Collections take place between 7am and 4pm.
Green waste collections are ideal for garden material like branches, weeds, and clippings, while bulk waste collections cover household items such as furniture, mattresses, e-waste, and appliances that cannot be sold or donated. Through Verge Valet™, the materials from many of these items will be reclaimed and recycled by local processors.
