Meet your new Councillors

News Update 23 October 2025
The City welcomes its newly elected Councillors who were sworn in on Tuesday 21 October 2025. 

The successful candidates were announced following the 2025 Local Government Election held on Saturday 18 October in which there were five vacancies for Council. 

Councillor Kathy Lees was elected to the Como Ward for a four-year term. 

Incumbent Councillor Blake D’Souza was returned to the Manning Ward for a four-year term. 

Councillors Tim Houweling and Jacqueline Raison were elected to the Mill Point Ward for a four-year and two-year term respectively. 

Councillor Stephen Russell was elected to the Moresby Ward for a four-year term after serving on Council previously from 2019 to 2023. 

They join Mayor Greg Milner, Deputy Mayor Bronwyn Waugh (Como Ward), Councillor André Brender-A-Brandis (Manning Ward) and Councillor Hayley Prendiville (Moresby Ward) to form the City of South Perth Council. 

The new Council’s  first meeting will be the October Agenda Briefing held on Wednesday 22 October 2025 followed by the October Ordinary Council Meeting held on Tuesday 28 October 2025 where the first order of business will be to elect the Deputy Mayor.
