Final chance to vote in local government election

News Update 15 October 2025
Time is running out to have your say in the 2025 Local Government Election. While it is now too late to return your postal vote, you can still ensure your vote counts by hand-delivering completed ballot papers.

Voters who haven’t posted their ballot can drop it off in person at the City of South Perth Civic Centre, located at the corner of Sandgate Street and South Terrace, South Perth.

Ballots can be delivered:

  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm
  • Saturday, 18 October, 8am to 6pm

Make sure your vote is received before the close of voting on Saturday, 18 October at 6pm. Don’t leave it too late, every vote counts in shaping the future of your community.

For the first time, provisional results will begin to be published on the WA Electoral Commission website after the close of voting on Saturday. These early results will be provided to keep electors, candidates and local governments informed while formal counting and verification processes continue.
