News Update 10 September 2025
Have your say in the local government elections by 6pm, Saturday 18 October 2025  and choose who you want to represent you on Council.

This year, voting is by postal vote, with optional preferential voting once again in place. This means you have the choice to number the candidates in the order of your preference. You do not have to number all the boxes if you don’t want to.

City of South Perth residents who are enrolled to vote on the State electoral role can vote, as well as people who own or occupy a rateable property in the City and have applied to vote.

This year there are five vacancies:

Como Ward – 1
Manning Ward – 1
Mill Point Ward – 2
Moresby Ward – 1
