Removal of six trees planted on south side of Lake Douglas
The City of South Perth Council voted at its Ordinary Council Meeting on 26 August 2025 not to revoke Council Resolution Number 0725/140 Removal of Six Trees Planted on the South Side of Lake Douglas During Winter 2024 considered by Council at its meeting held 22 July 2025.
The revocation motion required an absolute majority to be carried and was lost 3-4.
The City’s administration will now implement Council’s decision and will not be making any further comment on the matter.
