New enclosed dog park in Como now open
Local pooches now have access to the City of South Perth’s first fully enclosed dog park, complete with agility equipment to exercise and play.
Olives Reserve in Como gives our four-legged friends a dedicated space to help support good behaviour and promote positive social interactions between dogs, while fostering connections among pet owners.
It is important to remember that although this is an enclosed area where pooches can enjoy some off-lead play, it is still the dog owner’s responsibility to ensure their pet behaves responsibly and is always under effective control and supervision.
Key enhancements to the park’s infrastructure include the addition of new pedestrian and access gates, and kerbing.
In addition to the new dog-focused amenities, the surrounding parkland along Mary Street has undergone landscaping improvements.
With these exciting upgrades, Olives Reserve is set to become a premier destination for dog owners seeking a vibrant, well-maintained environment for exercise, play, and socialisation.
Work on a second dog park specifically for our smaller canine friends at Comer Reserve is progressing, with completion expected within the next month.
