Public Notice of Proposed Partial Road Closures
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 58 and Section 87 of the Land Administration Act 1997 of the City’s intention to:
- Close and amalgamate a 817m² (approx.) portion of dedicated road bounded by Broome Street, Collins Street, Shaftesbury Street and Douglas Avenue, South Perth with adjoining Lot 24 on Plan 576.
- Close and amalgamate a 748m² (approx.) portion of dedicated road bounded by Cliffe Street, Shaftesbury Street, Collins Street and Canning Highway, South Perth with adjoining Lot 16 on Plan 576.
- Close and amalgamate a 728m² (approx.) portion of dedicated road bounded by Collins Street, Shaftesbury Street, Canning Highway and Salisbury Avenue, South Perth with adjoining Lot 13 on Plan 576.
The creation of an easement will be incorporated into the above process to provide 121 and 123 Canning Highway with a right to use a portion of the amalgamated site for the purpose of access.
- Close and amalgamate a 817m² (approx.) portion of dedicated road bounded by Shaftesbury Street, Salisbury Avenue, Broome Street and Collins Street, South Perth with adjoining Lot 11 on Plan 576.
All four unconstructed road reserves are not functioning as road and have been identified for rationalisation.
