Book club kit donation to support remote communities
The City of South Perth has donated several book club sets to the Shire of East Pilbara libraries as part of an upcoming project to refresh its own kits.
Each book club set includes 10 copies of a book and discussion pages designed to bring groups together and foster a shared love of literature.
These libraries are an invaluable resource for remote communities, providing a crucial connection to knowledge and entertainment, however, sourcing new materials can be costly and difficult in these locations.
The City’s donation, while modest, provides a meaningful way to support their efforts and ensure patrons in Pilbara communities have access to fresh and engaging reading options.
