Council resolves not to lease Collier Reserve

At the Ordinary Council Meeting on Tuesday 24 September 2024, the City of South Perth Council resolved not to grant an Option to Lease any portion of Collier Reserve to Wesley South Perth Hockey Club (WASPs).

The decision comes following a resolution in February 2024, where Council resolved for the Chief Executive Officer to negotiate with WASPs to prepare an Option to Lease, and for that option to be brought back to Council for consideration.  

As part of the September Ordinary Council Meeting resolution, Council resolved for the Chief Executive Officer continue to work with WASPs and Hockey WA to provide a home for the WASPs at the Australian High-Performance Hockey Centre.
