Bill McGrath play space installation
A new play space is being installed at Bill McGrath Reserve in Kensington, designed to offer local families an exciting array of play equipment for all ages.
Offering plenty of fun and functionality, the new play space will include:
- Larger play equipment
- New sand pit
- Stepping stones
- A new shade shelter
- Two tube slides
- Rock climbing wall
- A double swing
The existing pencil climbers have been removed and replaced with new structures and the timber stepping boxes are already undergoing repair.
Installation of the equipment and sand pit area will begin on Monday 1 July and is expected to re-open to the public in 4–5 weeks. The nature play area will remain open.
