Raised platform works - Mill Point Road

As part of the 2022/23 Capital Works Program, the City will be installing one raised platform along Mill Point Road at the intersection at Scott Street, South Perth.

The construction works are scheduled to begin from the 5 March 2024 and will take approximately one business day to complete, weather permitting.

The works are being undertaken to improve safety in the area and are funded by the Main Roads Western Australia Low Cost Urban Road Safety Program.

The road works will include:

• Road resurfacing (laying new asphalt)
• Civil infrastructure renewals including replacement of kerbing and drainage covers.

Temporary road closures will be in place during the road works. Efforts will be made to minimise the inconvenience. For the safety of road users and personnel, please follow signage and take care when driving in the area.
