Adoption of revised local planning policy P303
The City of South Perth Council adopted a revised local planning policy P303 - Design Review Panel at the Ordinary Council Meeting held on 17 December 2019.
Aerial mosquito treatment on 10 January
The City is planning to undertake an aerial larvicide treatment by Heliwest on the 10 January 2020 between 9am and 3pm. The treatment will occur in the wetland area south of Waterford from Cygnia Cove through to the Salter Point Lagoon.
Extraordinary Election call for nominations

Road Rehabilitation Works - Thelma St, Como
The City will be undertaking road rehabilitation work on Thelma Street between Coode St & Canning Highway, Como commencing 20 January until 24 January 2020.
Road Rehabilitation Works - Paterson St, Como
The City will be undertaking road rehabilitation work on Paterson Street between Clydesdale & Ley Street, Como commencing 6 January 2020 for approximately 3 weeks.
Road Rehabilitation Works - Bruce St, Como
The City will be undertaking road rehabilitation work on Bruce Street between Henley Street and Saunders Street, Como, commencing 6 January 2020 for approximately 3 weeks.
Manning Road On-ramp Road works start 6 January
Commencing January, Manning Road between Ley Street and Kwinana Freeway in Como will be reduced to one lane in each direction. This closure will enable modification of the existing road to accommodate the new freeway ramp.
Kwinana Freeway Northbound overnight freeway closure January - 20 February 2020
Sections of the Kwinana Freeway northbound will be closed overnight from Sunday to Thursday for up to six weeks starting Sunday 12 January 2020
