Report a Lost, Damaged or Stolen Bin

Is your current bin damaged or broken?

The City will repair or replace damaged bins free of charge.

For us to repair or replace your bin, it must be:

  • Completely empty 
  • Placed on the verge by 6am.

Bins will be repaired or replaced on either a Tuesday or Thursday within 3 to 5 working days of your request being received. Please leave your bin in an area that is accessible for the City's contractor. You may be contacted by the City's contractor, Cleanaway, regarding the repair.

Is your current bin lost/stolen?

Before you contact the City about replacing your lost/stolen bin, please make sure your neighbour has not taken it by mistake.

Please note that your request will be processed during business hours, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm. Replacement bins will be delivered on either a Tuesday or Thursday within 3 to 5 workings days of your request being received.

If your bin should be returned, please email the City at enquiries@southperth.wa.gov.au to have the replacement bin removed or a fee maybe apply.
