This year the City presents the Sounds of Bunuru Concert on Saturday 25 March 2023.

Roll out your picnic rug and enjoy an evening of live music under the stars along with children’s activities and roving entertainment. Pack a picnic or choose from a range of gourmet food vendors on site.

This concert will feature Auslan interpreters, ample ACROD parking, as well as track matting to allow access for people using a wheelchair or walking aid.

The event is free, with no bookings required.

Schedule

5pm: Pre-show entertainment including children's activities, roving entertainment and gourmet food trucks

5.45pm - Master of Ceremonies' Welcome, Welcome to Country and Mayor's Welcome.

6-6.30pm - ABRYNZ

Singer, songwriter, and producer ABRYNZ breaks genre boundaries with hard-hitting drops, euphoric builds, and erratically altering dynamics with her trademark sound EDHD (Electronic Dance Hyperactivity Divergence). ABRYNZ is a soulful powerhouse with vocals that will take you on a journey of time.

7-8pm - Phil Walleystack and Band

Singer-songwriter Phil Walleystack is a Noongar man raised in Country Western Australia. Phil’s performances are a cultural fusion with traditionally inspired contemporary chants. After ten years touring internationally, Phil has the ability to connect with every member of an audience with his raw talent and unique style of storytelling and humour.
