All residents are invited to attend our special Australia Day flag raising ceremony and traditional Welcome to Country, along with one of our most loved annual citizenship events hosted by television presenter Haley Thompson.

State and Federal government representatives will join the City’s Mayor Greg Milner and Councillors to celebrate individuals and organisations who have made a difference in our community, as part of the AUSPIRE Community Citizen of the Year Awards.

We will also present the Ted Maslen Award to a young resident for achieving the highest score of all Year 12 students in the City of South Perth.

The Great Aussie Breakfast is set to sizzle after the Citizenship Ceremony with the Rotary Club of Como providing a BBQ breakfast with a choice of fruit and a cup of tea, coffee, juice or water for the small cost of $6 each, which goes back into the local community.
