Presented by the City of South Perth and supported by Lotterywest, the Australia Day Celebration Zone returns with an extensive program of free events for the whole family.

  • 100 free activities and performances for all ages, toddlers through to adults
  • Accessible ‘grass tracks’ for people with disability, walkers, prams and strollers
  • Wide range of food vendors
  • Ample shade and picnic areas
  • Alcohol and smoke free
  • Free drinking water refill stations
  • Free sunscreen. 

Spanning over 10 hectares along the South Perth foreshore, there will be a range of food vendors and ample shade and picnic areas for families to enjoy. The event provides the opportunity to come together and enjoy Australia Day in a safe, alcohol and smoke free environment.

Parents with young children are encouraged to pick up FREE ID bracelets from the info tent. Just complete your contact details on each bracelet and if your child wanders off or gets lost, one of our volunteers can contact you.

All activities in the Celebration Zone will wrap up at 7.30pm to allow you to find a spot to watch the City of Perth Skyworks fireworks display at 8pm.
