In 2019 the City is excited to launch a new free community festival, Hello Manning.

The two day celebration will feature live music and entertainment, unique art experiences, activations by local community groups and businesses, and a family outdoor movie night, family friendly games and activity zones including a teen chill out zone.

A selection of food trucks will be accompanied by the Hello Manning long table luncheon tent. Plus, don’t miss the unique temporary art installations including Andy Faraday’s Dark Truck interactive Unselfie Project and ANTaR’s (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander advocacy organisation) Hello project.

Hello Manning will be held at the Manning Community Centre and James Miller Oval, 2 Conochie Cres, Manning.

Event parking is available on Manning Primary School oval for a gold coin donation. Proceeds go to the Manning Primary Parents’ & Friends’ Association. To celebrate Bike Week, ride your bike to the event and check it in to our free bike valet service.

Hello Manning will feature the following activities and activations:

  • Free outdoor Family Movie Night, Incredible 2 rated PG, starts 7pm

  • Licensed bar hosted by the Manning Rippers Club

  • Roaming entertainment

10am-3pm, Sunday 31 March 2019

  • Activations by local community groups and businesses including free fitness workshop, free spinal screening, free workshops and lots more.
  • Live entertainment on the Community Stage, Children Stage, Busker stage and the Festival Pitch. Featuring local musicians, educational shows, circus and much more.
  • Roaming entertainment 
  • Food trucks
  • St John First Aid Awareness Marquee
  • A Reserve, temporary Art Installation The Rose Coloured House
  • Andy Faraday’s Dark Truck interactive Unselfie Project

  • Activation's in the Manning Community Centre including the Manning Library, Toy Library and much more.
