Get nostalgic with the Decoy crew as they celebrate the 120th anniversary of Perth Zoo, Mends Street and Perth Waters.  

Powered by its 113 year old steam engine, the Paddle Steamer Decoy will depart from Mends Street Jetty for a 1.5 hour trip. Accompanied by historic commentary, hear about the history of this part of the Swan River (Perth Waters, South Perth, Mounts Bay, etc.) and of Perth’s popular Steamboats that have transported passengers across the Swan River to South Perth for 120 years.

The West Australian built Decoy will depart Mends Street each Saturday commencing 3 November 2018 until 29 December 2018. The following is the proposed departures and arrivals schedule:

The Decoy offers the best views of the Swan River and Perth City from the Upper Deck and a rare opportunity to watch the 113 year-old Steam Engine in operation.

Tickets are $15 for adults (16 years and over), $5 for 1 child (4 to 15 years) and no charge for children under 4 years. All children to be accompanied by an adult.    

Tickets are valid all day. Passengers can board and alight at Mends Street Jetty and/or Barrack Street Jetty.
