Mind Lounge is a free daytime series for adults presented by South Perth Libraries. An opportunity to learn a craft or have a go at something creative, discover a new game or stretch your mind trying out something new in a fun and expectation free workshop. The activities are designed to entertain and relax. They are facilitated by an experienced artist, teacher or community worker.

Mind Lounge: Inside the Box 

Join facilitator Shaktima for 2 hours of creative fun - no expectations, no pressure, just space to relax and enjoy some arty timeout.

Shaktima is an Art Therapist and Life Coach who has taught art in a variety of contexts 
with adults.

Think inside the box for once! 

Create an art-piece that is a place for just you. Discover how a simple small box can be made into something wonderful. Add colour, collage, embellishments, pastel, pencil, texta, watercolour and glue to create a happy space of your own to take home.
