Join Perth author Deborah Burrows to hear about her new book Ambulance Girls and the lives of women during World War Two.
Deborah Burrows is the author of four popular novels set in the Second World War. The latest, Ambulance Girls, is the first of a trilogy set in the London Blitz. Her inspiration is her late mother, who was a war widow and who told many stories about living in wartime and about the exploits of Deborah’s war hero father.
Books will be on sale on the night and Deborah will be available for book signing.
This event is part of the 2017 Australian Heritage Festival which is supported through funding from the Australian Government’s National Trusts Partnership Program.
