A Season of Arts, Events and Culture 2017 – 2018
The City is currently planning the annual arts, events and culture programme for the spring to autumn season, running from November 2017 to April 2018.
Throughout the season, the City will celebrate the community and our spaces through unique events, temporary public art and an array of cultural activities. The programme will feature the City’s iconic Australia Day celebrations on 26 January 2018, the summer concert held in conjunction with the Commonwealth Games Queen’s Baton Relay through South Perth on 24 February 2018 and the Angelo Street Marketplace on 25 March 2018.
Other key events will include a concert for seniors, children’s theatre and the return of ‘Find Me’ activities popping up across the City.
Call for Expressions of Interest
The City is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI’s) from event organisers, community groups, businesses, performing and visual artists to be a part of the City’s arts and events season. This is a great opportunity to connect with the community, showcase your talent or organisation and align yourself with a reputable brand.
If selected, your activity will be promoted and supported as part of the City’s six-month promotional campaign.
