All members of the community are invited to attend the City’s flag raising ceremony to mark the beginning of NAIDOC Week 2023.
The event will honour the Aboriginal community in the City of South Perth and acknowledge the culture of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The City will celebrate NAIDOC Week from 2-9 July 2023, by partnering with local Noongar community members to host a series of free events including a flag raising ceremony, kids arts and crafts, storytime sessions and guest presentations from Kerry Stack and Isobel Bevis.
The NAIDOC 2023 theme is For Our Elders.
