Join the City's Local History Librarian for a juvenile jaunt through South Perth's youth.

Crabbing at Como, Guy Fawkes' Night, bumper cars and billy-cart rides - nostalgic memories abound of childhood in South Perth. But things were not always rosy for our youngest citizens - Depression and disease loomed in the background, and the children of Clontarf and the Canning Bridge camps had more difficult stories.

The Reflect series examines South Perth through the eyes of a child, from long-forgotten games to Uncle Charlie's prized sandboxes.
