Arts & Culture Food & Drink Free Kids/Family Library

NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to celebrate the rich history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, as the oldest continuing cultures on the planet.

The City will celebrate NAIDOC Week from 3-10 July 2022, by partnering with local Noongar community members to host a series of free events including a flag raising ceremony, kids arts and crafts, storytime sessions and a Words with Wine guest presentation from WA Women's Hall of Fame recipient, Amanda Healy.

The NAIDOC 2022 theme, Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up! calls for systemic change and to keep rallying around our mob, our Elders, our communities.
