Manning Community Hub

The City's Manning Community Hub is a finalist in the Australian Property Institute's National Excellence in Property Awards.

Nominated in the Local Government Property Award category, the three finalists are:

  • City of Perth Library by City of Perth
  • Manning Community Hub by City of South Perth
  • Break O'Day Community Stadium (Bendigo BOCS) by Break O'Day Council

The Awards recognise innovation and outstanding achievement across the entire property industry with individuals, group and sector projects. A judging panel of distinguished industry leaders is brought together to critically assess all entries in their individual categories. Awards will be presented on 6 October 2017 in Melbourne.

The Manning Community Hub is a multi million dollar project that aims to create a new 'heart' for Manning and provide the community with a vibrant, connected and attractive precinct integrating community services and social activities.

It includes the relocated Manning Library, a community hall, Manning Child Health Clinic, Moorditj Keila Aboriginal Group, a sporting clubroom to house the Manning Rippers Football Club and an early years’ centre that will be the home of the Manning Toy Library and a new Manning Playgroup association.

Construction of the Manning Community Hub facility commenced in June 2015 and was completed at the end of 2016. The facility opened its doors to the public on Saturday, 11 February 2017.
