City of South Perth library members can continue to request and borrow books from Perth metropolitan libraries.

Last week the State Government confirmed it would implement a "transitional arrangement" that will include deliveries between libraries.

While the details of the alternative delivery service are finalised, the State Library of WA will operate a twice weekly delivery service to metropolitan public libraries.

Please note there may be a delay in supplying items due to the reduced service.
