Subdivisions in South Perth

Please attribute the following comments to City of South Perth Mayor Sue Doherty.

How many subdivisions did the City of South Perth approve in 2013-14? 2012-13? 2011-12?
The City provides comments to the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) in relation to the proposed subdivisions. The WAPC decides to either approve or refuse such proposals. 
The City provided comments to the WAPC on the following number of applications:
• 2013-14: 38
• 2012-13: 34
• 2011-12: 29

What is the range of block sizes, ie: smallest to biggest in the City of South Perth?The residential lot sizes in the City of South Perth vary between 150 square metres in the Mill Point area, and 1500 square metres in Salter Point area. 

What is the average block size in the City of South Perth?

Anecdotally, what are the reasons being given for subdivision, ie: for financial gain, because ‘empty nesters’ want to continue living in the suburbs etc?
The owners are not required to disclose reasons for subdividing their lots. They may choose to subdivide in order to meet their distinct needs.
